Sydney’s roots come from a horse ranch in Southern California. Her family was actively involved in the Arabian horse breeding and showing business. Sydney competed for several consecutive years in the Arabian Horse Show Association Nationals. She placed in the Top 5 in the nation twice and again in the Top 10 in Saddle Seat Equitation, a discipline which judges the rider and not the horse!
Sydney began her real estate career in California in the late 1980’s where she has had the privilege of providing outstanding and personalized service to both Buyers and Sellers. Sydney is a Broker Associate at Oak & Roots Real Estate Group. She maintains her Broker’s license in California and Hawaii and is associated with offices in both states which gives her clients the very best opportunity for cutting edge, current industry information.
Early in her career, Sydney represented the Federal National Mortgage Association (FANNIE MAE) in liquidating their foreclosed assets. “FANNIE MAE”, is the largest secondary market lender in the world. Sydney was their lead Broker for the county and was recognized for her production and excellence in asset management, REO liquidation and marketing and construction management skills. Sydney’s attention to detail was rewarded with special awards given to her in Dallas, Texas by Fannie Mae at their regional meeting.
Sydney works as a team with her husband, Jim Liptak in the real estate business. Sydney & Jim raised their family on the Central Coast of California in San Luis Obispo County. They have 6 grandchildren and make it a priority to visit them regularly.
