Jim Liptak is a Broker-Associate with Oak & Roots Real Estate Group on the Central Coast of California.
Jim has been successfully practicing real estate brokerage in San Luis Obispo County for 35 years. He has served as President of the Paso Robles Association of REALTORS® twice and has been named REALTOR® of the Year FIVE times by his peers. In 2009 he was named REALTOR® of the YEAR by the National Association of REALTORS®.
Jim is the first REALTOR® on the Central Coast to ever serve on the Board of Directors of the National Association of REALTORS® ( NAR ). He has served as Chairman of numerous committee's on the national level, most recently Regional Vice President for California, Hawaii and Guam.
Jim was named Honorary Director for Life by the California Association of REALTORS ( CAR ), the largest state trade association in the country, in 1998 for his ongoing commitment as an industry leader.
In June of 2005, Jim was elected Treasurer of the California Association of REALTORS®. Jim had oversight of over a 70 million dollar budget and helped formulate the strategic plan for the association’s 3 to 5 year horizon.
In 2006, Jim was made an Honorary Life Member of the Paso Robles Association of REALTORS® for his outstanding leadership ability.
In June of 2007, Jim was elected to the position of President Elect and served as President Elect in 2008, then President in 2009. Jim is the only REALTOR® on the Central Coast to ever serve as an Officer of the California Association of REALTORS®.
Jim was an original member of FREDDIE MAC’s Real Estate Advisory Group, formed in 1999 to offer advice to the nation’s second largest lender with regards to their Real Estate Owned ( REO ) portfolio.
Jim served on the steering committee for the City of Paso Robles, which formulated the counties first Redevelopment Agency. He also served for two years as the Chairman of the Redevelopment Agencies Project Area Committee.
